# Commission Regulation (EC) No 431/2008 of 19 May 2008 opening and providing for the administration of an import tariff quota for frozen meat of bovine animals covered by CN code 0202 and products covered by CN code 0206 29 91, Article 1

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. An import tariff quota totalling 54 875 tonnes expressed in weight of boneless meat is hereby opened every year for frozen meat of bovine animals covered by CN code 0202 and products covered by CN code 0206 29 91 for the period from 1 July to 30 June of the following year (hereafter import tariff quota period).
The order number of the tariff quota shall be 09.4003.
However, for the import tariff quota period 2016/2017 the total amount shall be 53 000 tonnes.
2. The Common Custom Tariff duty applicable to the quota provided for in paragraph 1 shall be 20 % ad valorem.
