Article 17 Entry into force and application

This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

However, it shall apply:

1. (a)

   as regards the cereals, flax and hemp, olive oil, fruits and vegetables fresh or processed, seeds, beef and veal, sheepmeat and goatmeat, pig meat, milk and milk products, eggs, poultry meat, ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin and other product sectors, other than rice, sugar and wine sectors, from 1 July 2008;

2. (b)

   as regards the wine sector, from 1 August 2008;

3. (c)

   as regards the rice sector, from 1 September 2008;

4. (d)

   as regards the sugar sector, from 1 October 2008.
