# Commission Regulation (EC) No 543/2008 of 16 June 2008 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 as regards the marketing standards for poultrymeat, Article 18

1. The competent authority must inform the national reference laboratory without delay about the results of the checks referred to in Articles 15 and 16, carried out by them or under their responsibility.
By 30 June each year, the national reference laboratory must notify the relevant authority of the results of checks mentioned in the first subparagraph. ...
2. The relevant authority shall adopt the practical measures for the checks provided for in Articles 15 and 16 at all stages of marketing, including checks on imports from third countries at the time of customs clearance in accordance with Annexes VI and VII. ...
