# Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I), Article 24: Relationship with the Rome Convention

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. This Regulation replaces the provision made by section 2 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990.
2. In so far as this Regulation replaces the provision made by section 2 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990, any reference to the Rome Convention shall be understood as a reference to this Regulation.
