# Commission Regulation (EC) No 692/2008 of 18 July 2008 implementing and amending Regulation (EC) No 715/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council on type-approval of motor vehicles with respect to emissions from light passenger and commercial vehicles (Euro 5 and Euro 6) and on access to vehicle repair and maintenance information (Text with EEA relevance), Article 17: Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
However, the obligations set out in Articles 4(5), 4(6), 5(3)(d) and 5(3)(e) shall apply from 1 September 2011 for the type-approval of new types of vehicles and from 1 January 2014 for all new vehicles sold, registered or put into service in the Community.
Annex VI as amended by Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1221 shall apply from 1 September 2019 to all new vehicles registered on and after that date.
