Article 23 Application for a fishing authorisation

Without prejudice to Article 19(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1006/2008, an application to the Commission for a fishing authorisation from an authority of a third-country shall contain the following information:

1. (a)

   the name of the vessel;

2. (b)

   the registration number;

3. (c)

   external identification letters and numbers;

4. (d)

   the port of registration;

5. (e)

   the name and address of the owner or charterer;

6. (f)

   the gross tonnage and overall length;

7. (g)

   the engine power;

8. (h)

   the call sign and radio frequency;

9. (i)

   the intended method of fishing;

10. (j)

    the intended area of fishing;

11. (k)

    the species for which it is intended to fish;

12. (l)

    the period for which an authorisation is applied for.
