# Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 480/2009 of 25 May 2009 establishing a Guarantee Fund for external actions (Codified version), Article 2

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

The Fund shall be endowed by:
one annual payment from the general budget of the European Union pursuant to Articles 5 and 6,
interest on Fund resources invested,
amounts recovered from defaulting debtors where the Fund has already honoured the guarantee,
risk-premium revenues generated under the financing operations of the EIB for which the Union provides a guarantee which is remunerated.
