Class C1 tyres shall meet the following requirements:

| snow tyre with a speed symbol (‘R’ and above, including ‘H’) indicating a maximum permissible speed greater than 160 km/h | ≥ 1,0 |
| normal (road type) tyre | ≥ 1,1 |
