Article 2 Scope

motor vehicles of category M₁ as defined in F1Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858, subject to paragraph 2 of this Article;

motor vehicles of category N₁ as defined in Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858, subject to paragraph 2 of this Article;

frontal protection systems fitted as original equipment to the vehicles referred to in points (a) and (b) or supplied as separate technical units intended for fitting to such vehicles.

vehicles of category N₁; and

vehicles of category M₁ derived from N₁ and of maximum mass exceeding 2 500 kg;
