  "text": "In order to be in conformity with the minimum set of search criteria set out in regulation 7(3) of the INSPIRE Regulations 2009 or, as the case may be, regulation 8(3) of the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009, the Discovery Service shall support searching with the INSPIRE metadata elements listed in Table 1 of this Annex.\nTable 1\nMinimum search criteria\nINSPIRE metadata elements\nKeywords\nKeyword\nClassification of spatial data and services\n(For spatial data sets and spatial data set series)\nTopic category\nClassification of spatial data and services\n(For spatial data services)\nSpatial data service type\nThe quality and validity of spatial data sets\nLineage\nThe quality and validity of spatial data sets\nSpatial resolution\nDegree of conformity with the implementing rules set out in Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1089/2010 (the “implementing rules”) or the INSPIRE Regulations; and for this purpose “INSPIRE Regulations” means the INSPIRE Regulations 2009 or, as the case may be, the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009\nSpecification\nDegree of conformity with the implementing rules ...\nDegree\nGeographical location\nGeographic bounding box\nConditions applying to the access to and use of spatial data sets and services\nConditions applying to access and use\nConditions applying to the access to and use of spatial data sets and services\nLimitations on public access\nThe public authorities responsible for the establishment, management, maintenance and distribution of spatial data sets and services\nResponsible party\nThe public authorities responsible for the establishment, management, maintenance and distribution of spatial data sets and services\nResponsible party role\nThe following INSPIRE metadata elements or set of elements shall be also available as search criteria:\n(a)Resource Title;\n(b)Resource Abstract;\n(c)Resource type;\n(d)Unique Resource Identifier;\n(e)Temporal Reference.\nTo allow for discovering resources through a combination of search criteria, logical and comparison operators shall be supported.\nTo allow for discovering resources based on the geographic location of the resource, the spatial operator listed in Table 2 shall be supported.\nTable 2\nOperator Name\nProperty\nIntersects\nRequires the geographic bounding box INSPIRE metadata element to intersect a defined area of interest",
