# Commission Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010 of 23 November 2010 implementing Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards interoperability of spatial data sets and services, Article 1: Subject Matter and Scope

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. This Regulation sets out the requirements for technical arrangements for the interoperability and, where practicable, harmonisation of spatial data sets and spatial data services corresponding to the themes listed in Annexes 1, 2 and 3 to Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1205/2008.
2. This Regulation does not apply to the network services falling within the scope of Commission Regulation (EC) No 976/2009.
