# Regulation (EU) No 1210/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 December 2010 concerning authentication of euro coins and handling of euro coins unfit for circulation, Article 14: Entry into force

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It shall apply from 1 January 2012, with the exception of Chapter III, which shall apply from the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
