Article 1

Article 2(1) of Regulation (EC) No 437/2009 is replaced by the following:

‘1.

In accordance with Article 82 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92^f1, the animals imported shall be subject to customs supervision to ensure that they are fattened for a period of at least 120 days in production units which must be indicated by the importer in the month following the animals’ release for free circulation.’
