# Commission Regulation (EU) No 109/2011 of 27 January 2011 implementing Regulation (EC) No 661/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards type-approval requirements for certain categories of motor vehicles and their trailers as regards spray suppression systems (Text with EEA relevance), Article 3: GB type-approval of a vehicle with regard to spray suppression systems

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. The manufacturer or the representative of the manufacturer shall submit to the approval authority the application for GB type-approval of a vehicle with regard to its spray suppression systems.
2. The application shall be drawn up in accordance with the model of the information document set out in Part 1 of Annex I.
3. If the relevant requirements set out in Annexes III and IV to this Regulation are met, the approval authority shall grant a GB type-approval and issue a type-approval number in accordance with the numbering system set out in Annex IV to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683.
The approval authority may not assign the same number to another vehicle type.
4. For the purposes of paragraph 3, the approval authority shall deliver a GB type-approval certificate established in accordance with the model set out in Part 2 of Annex I.
