  "text": "An STI certificate issued by the CAA in accordance with the national requirements ... may be converted into a Part-FCL certificate provided that the holder complies with the requirements set out in the table below:\nNational certificate held\nExperience\nAny further requirements\nReplacement certificate\n(1)\n(2)\n(3)\n(4)\nSTI(A)\n> 500 hours as pilot on SPA\n(i)hold or have held a pilot licence issued by the CAA;\n(ii)have completed a proficiency check in accordance with Appendix 9 to Part-FCL in an FSTD appropriate to the instruction intended\nSTI(A)\nSTI(A)\n3 years’ recent experience as an STI\nhave completed a proficiency check in accordance with Appendix 9 to Part-FCL in an FSTD appropriate to the instruction intended\nSTI(A)\nRevalidation of the certificate shall be subject to the completion of the relevant requirements set out in Part-FCL.",
