Article 1 Subject matter and scope

This Regulation lays down implementing measures:

  1. (a)

    for the public and animal health rules for animal by-products and derived products laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009;

  2. (b)

    concerning certain samples and items exempt from veterinary checks at F1border control posts as provided for in Article F248(a) and (b) of the Official Controls Regulation.
