# Commission Regulation (EU) No 252/2011 of 15 March 2011 amending Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards Annex I (Text with EEA relevance), Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It shall apply from 5 May 2011.
However, for registrations submitted prior to 5 May 2011, the chemical safety report shall be updated in accordance with this Regulation by 30 November 2012 at the latest. Article 22(5) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 shall not apply to those updates.
This Article is without prejudice to Articles 2 and 3 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 253/2011, with regard to Article 1(12) of this Regulation.
