# Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EEC (Text with EEA relevance), Article 49: Identification numbers and lists of approved bodies

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. The Secretary of State shall assign an identification number to each approved body.
It shall assign a single such number even where the body is approved under several relevant enactments.
2. The Secretary of State shall make publicly available the list of approved bodies, including the identification numbers that have been allocated to them and the activities for which they have been approved.
The Secretary of State shall ensure that this list is kept up-to-date.
3. The Secretary of State may authorise the UK national accreditation body to compile and maintain the list referred to in paragraph 2.
