# Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 November 2012 on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs, Article 43: Relation to intellectual property

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

The quality schemes described in Titles III and IV shall apply without prejudice to assimilated law and any other enactments governing intellectual property, and in particular to those concerning designations of origin and geographical indications and trade marks, and rights granted under that law and those enactments.
