  "heading": "Scope of accreditation for verifiers",
  "text": "The scope of accreditation of verifiers shall be indicated in the accreditation certificate using the following groups of activities pursuant to Annex I to Directive 2003/87/EC and other activities pursuant to Articles 10a and 24 of Directive 2003/87/EC. Those provisions shall equally apply to verifiers certified by a national authority in accordance with Article 54(2) of this Regulation.\nActivity group No\nScopes of accreditation\n1a\nCombustion of fuels in installations, where only commercial standard fuels as defined in Regulation (EU) No 601/2012 are used, or where natural gas is used in category A or B installations.\n1b\nCombustion of fuels in installations, without restrictions\n2\nRefining of mineral oil\n3\nProduction of coke\nMetal ore (including sulphide ore) roasting or sintering, including pelletisation\nProduction of pig iron or steel (primary or secondary fusion) including continuous casting\n4\nProduction or processing of ferrous metals (including ferro-alloys)\nProduction of secondary aluminium\nProduction or processing of non-ferrous metals, including production of alloys\n5\nProduction of primary aluminium (CO2 and PFC emissions)\n6\nProduction of cement clinker\nProduction of lime or calcination of dolomite or magnesite\nManufacture of glass including glass fibre\nManufacture of ceramic products by firing\nManufacture of mineral wool insulation material\nDrying or calcination of gypsum or production of plaster boards and other gypsum products\n7\nProduction of pulp from timber or other fibrous materials\nProduction of paper or cardboard\n8\nProduction of carbon black\nProduction of ammonia\nProduction of bulk organic chemicals by cracking, reforming, partial or full oxidation or by similar processes\nProduction of hydrogen (H2) and synthesis gas by reforming or partial oxidation\nProduction of soda ash (Na2CO3) and sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3)\n9\nProduction of nitric acid (CO2 and N2O emissions)\nProduction of adipic acid (CO2 and N2O emissions)\nProduction of glyoxal and glyoxylic acid (CO2 and N2O emissions)\nProduction of caprolactam\n10\nCapture of greenhouse gases from installations covered by Directive 2003/87/EC for the purpose of transport and geological storage in a storage site permitted under Directive 2009/31/EC\nTransport of greenhouse gases by pipelines for geological storage in a storage site permitted under Directive 2009/31/EC\n11\nGeological storage of greenhouse gases in a storage site permitted under Directive 2009/31/EC\n12\nAviation activities (emissions and tonne-kilometre data)\n98\nOther activities pursuant to Article 10a of Directive 2003/87/EC\n99\nOther activities, included by a Member State pursuant to Article 24 of Directive 2003/87/EC, to be specified in detail in the accreditation certificate",
