  "text": "1. ...\nWhere the Secretary of State receives a decision guidance document from the Secretariat, the Secretary of State must, taking into account the information in the decision guidance document, adopt an import decision in the form of a final or interim import response ... concerning the future import of the chemical concerned. ... The Secretary of State shall communicate the decision to the Secretariat as soon as possible, and no later than nine months after the date of dispatch of the decision guidance document by the Secretariat.\nWhere a chemical becomes subject to additional or amended restrictions ..., the Secretary of State shall... adopt a revised import decision. ... The Secretary of State shall communicate the revised import decision to the Secretariat.\n2. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .\n3. An import decision under paragraph 1 shall relate to the category or categories specified for the chemical in the decision guidance document.\n4. When communicating the import decision to the Secretariat, the Secretary of State shall provide a description of the legislative or administrative measure upon which it is based.\n5. The Designated National Authority shall make the import decisions under paragraph 1 publicly available via its website.\n6. Where appropriate, the Secretary of State shall evaluate, in close cooperation with the Designated National Authority, the Scottish Ministers and the Welsh Ministers, the need to take measures ... in order to prevent any unacceptable risks to human health or the environment ..., taking into account the information given in the decision guidance document.\n7. The functions of the Secretary of State under paragraph 1 to adopt an import decision and to adopt a revised import decision are subject to the consent requirement in Article 23B.",
