# Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1001/2013 of 4 October 2013 amending Annex I to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff, Division 5: For the purposes of headings 5204, 5401 and 5508, the expression ‘sewing thread’ means multiple (folded) or cabled yarn:

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(a) put up on supports (for example, reels, tubes) of a weight (including support) not exceeding 1 000 grams;
(b) dressed for use as sewing thread; and
(c) with a final ‘Z’ twist.
