Article 2 Scope

United Kingdom

This Regulation, with the exception of Article 12, shall apply to F1United Kingdom ships.

F2Article 12 shall ... apply to ships, other than United Kingdom ships, calling at a port or anchorage in the United Kingdom.

This Regulation shall not apply to:

(a)

any warships, naval auxiliary, or other ships owned or operated by a state and used, for the time being, only on government non-commercial service;

(b)

ships of less than 500 gross tonnage (GT);

F3(c)

United Kingdom flagged ships operating throughout their life in United Kingdom waters only.
