# Regulation (EU) No 1288/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 establishing 'Erasmus+': the Union programme for education, training, youth and sport and repealing Decisions No 1719/2006/EC, No 1720/2006/EC and No 1298/2008/EC (Text with EEA relevance), Article 14: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices shall support:
(a) strategic partnerships aimed at developing and implementing joint initiatives, including youth initiatives and citizenship projects that promote active citizenship, social innovation, participation in democratic life and entrepreneurship, through peer learning and exchanges of experience;
(b) IT support platforms allowing peer learning, knowledge-based youth work, virtual mobility and exchanges of good practice.
2. This action shall also support development, capacity-building and knowledge exchanges through partnerships between organisations in Programme countries and partner countries, in particular through peer learning.
