Division 2 The rabies antibody titration test:

must be carried out on a sample collected at least 30 days after the date of vaccination and:

1. (i)

   not less than three months before the date of:

   • the non-commercial movement from F1... a third country other than those listed in F2Part 1 or 2 of Annex 2 to the Commission Implementing Regulation, or

   • the transit through such a F3... third country, where the conditions laid down in point (c) of Article 12 are not fulfilled, or

2. (ii)

   before the pet animal left F4Great Britain for movement to or transit through F5... a third country other than those listed F6in Part 1 or 2 of Annex 2 to the Commission Implementing Regulation; the identification document in the format provided for in F7Article 25(1) must confirm that a rabies antibody titration test was carried out with a favourable result before the date of movement;

must measure a level of neutralising antibody to rabies virus in serum equal to or greater than 0,5 IU/ml and using a method prescribed in the relevant part of the Chapter concerning rabies in the Manual of Diagnostic Tests and Vaccines for Terrestrial Animals of the World Organisation for Animal Health F8, except where point 2A applies;

must be performed in a laboratory approved in accordance with Article 3 of Decision 2000/258/EC F9or Article 3 of Decision 2000/258/EC as it has effect in European Union law, as amended from time to time;

does not have to be renewed following a satisfactory result described in point (b), provided that the pet animal is revaccinated within the period of validity referred to in point 2(e) of Annex III of the previous vaccination.
