  "text": "The annual energy consumption AE is calculated, in kWh/year and rounded to one decimal place, as follows:\nfor carpet vacuum cleaners:\nAE c = 4 × 87 × 50 × 0,001 × ASE c × 1 − 0,20 dpu c − 0,20\nfor hard floor vacuum cleaners:\nAE hf = 4 × 87 × 50 × 0,001 × ASE hf × 1 − 0,20 dpu hf − 0,20\nfor general-purpose vacuum cleaners:\nAE gp = 0,5 × AE c + 0,5 × AE hf\nwhere:\nASEc is the average specific energy consumption in Wh/m2 during carpet test, calculated as provided below\nASEhf is the average specific energy consumption in Wh/m2 during hard floor test, calculated as provided below\ndpuc is the dust pick-up on carpet, determined in accordance with point 4 of this Annex\ndpuhf is the dust pick-up on hard floor, determined in accordance with point 4 of this Annex\n50 is the standard number of one-hour cleaning tasks per year\n87 is the standard dwelling surface to be cleaned in m2\n4 is the standard number of times that a vacuum cleaner passes over each point on the floor (two double strokes)\n0,001 is the conversion factor from Wh to kWh\n1 is the standard dust pick-up\n0,20 is the standard difference between dust pick-up after five and after two double strokes.",
