  "text": "Regulation (EC) No 657/2008 is amended as follows:\n(1) in Article 11, paragraph 2 is replaced by the following:\n‘2. Member States shall specify the frequency of applications. These may cover periods of one to seven months within one single school year period running from 1 August to 31 July.’;\n(2) Article 15 is amended as follows:\n(a) paragraph 4 is replaced by the following:\n‘4. On-the-spot checks shall be carried out during the school year period running from 1 August to 31 July to which they relate (period N) or during the following 12 months (period N+1), or during both.\nOn-the-spot checks shall cover a period of at least four months of the school year period to which they relate (period N).\nEach on-the-spot check shall be considered completed once the corresponding control report, as referred to in paragraph 8, is available.’;\n(b) in paragraph 8, the following subparagraph is added:\n‘All control reports shall be completed no later than 12 months after the end of the school year period running from 1 August to 31 July to which the respective on-the-spot checks relate (period N+1).’;\n(3) Article 17 is amended as follows:\n(a) in paragraph 1 the introductory phrase is replaced by the following:\n‘1. By 31 October each year, Member States shall provide the Commission with the following information as regards products distributed during the school year period running from 1 August to 31 July which has ended in the previous calendar year, broken down by applicant as defined in Article 6 of this Regulation:’;\n(b) in paragraph 2, the following points are added:\n(f) ‘the approximate number of children in regular attendance in all educational establishments participating in the school milk scheme;\n(g) the approximate number of children eligible under the school milk scheme.’",
