  "text": "In this Regulation—\n“RIDDOR” means—\n(a)in relation to Great Britain, the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 ;\n(b)in relation to Northern Ireland, the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 ;\n“SCR” means—\n(a)in relation to Great Britain, the Offshore Installations (Offshore Safety Directive) (Safety Case etc.) Regulations 2015;\n(b)in relation to Northern Ireland, the Offshore Installations (Offshore Safety Directive) (Safety Case etc.) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016 ;\n“competent authority” means the Executive and the Secretary of State acting jointly;\n“the Executive” means—\n(a)in relation to Great Britain, the Health and Safety Executive;\n(b)in relation to Northern Ireland, the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland;\n“major accident”, “major environmental incident” and “operator” have the same meanings as in SCR.",
