# Regulation (EU) No 233/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2014 establishing a financing instrument for development cooperation for the period 2014-2020, Article 4: Implementation of Union Assistance

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

Union assistance shall be implemented, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 236/2014, through:
(a) geographic programmes;
(b) thematic programmes, composed of:
(i) a ‘Global Public Goods and Challenges’ programme, and
(ii) a ‘Civil Society Organisations and Local Authorities’ programme, and
(c) a Pan-African programme.
