# Council Regulation (EU) No 559/2014 of 6 May 2014 establishing the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking (Text with EEA relevance), Division 1: The Executive Director shall be appointed by the Governing Board, from a list of candidates proposed by the Commission, following an open and transparent selection procedure. The Commission shall associate the representation from the Members of the FCH 2 Joint Undertaking other than the Union in the selection procedure as appropriate.

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

In particular, an appropriate representation from the Members of the FCH 2 Joint Undertaking other than the Union shall be ensured at the pre-selection stage of the selection procedure. For that purpose, the Members of the FCH 2 Joint Undertaking other than the Union shall appoint by common accord a representative as well as an observer on behalf of the Governing Board.
