Division Article 8 Appointment, dismissal or extension of the term of office of the Executive Director

  1. 1The Executive Director shall be appointed by the Governing Board, from a list of candidates proposed by the Commission, following an open and transparent selection procedure. The Commission shall associate the representation from the other members of the ECSEL Joint Undertaking in the selection procedure, as appropriate.
  2. 2The Executive Director shall be a member of staff and shall be engaged as a temporary agent of the ECSEL Joint Undertaking under point (a) of Article 2 of the Conditions of Employment.
