  "text": "In Part E of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 the following entry is inserted in the food category 04.1.2 ‘Peeled, cut and shredded fruit and vegetables’ after the entry for food additive E 333:\n‘\nE 401\nSodium alginate\n2 400\n(82)\nonly prepacked refrigerated unprocessed fruit and vegetables ready for consumption, to be sold to the final consumer\n(82):\nMay only be used in combination with E 302 as glazing agents and with a maximum level of 800 mg/kg of E 302 in the final food.\n’",
