This is equivalent to a value in °Brix.\nThe dry soluble residue content shall be calculated as follows:\nThe percentage sucrose content indicated by refractometry shall be used directly.\nIf the reading is made at a temperature other than + 20 °C, correct as indicated in table 1.\nIf the measurement has been made on a diluted solution, the dry soluble residue content (M) shall be calculated using the following formula:\nM = M' × 100 ∕ E M' being the weight (in grams) of dry soluble residue per 100 g of product indicated by the refractometer and E the weight (in grams) of product per 100 g of solution.\nThe result of that calculation shall be given to one decimal place (+/- 0,1 °Brix).\nTable 1\nCorrections when determination is made at a temperature other than 20 °C\nTemperature °C\nSucrose in grams per 100 grams of product\n5\n10\n15\n20\n30\n40\n50\n60\n70\n75\nSubtract\n15\n0,25\n0,27\n0,31\n0,31\n0,34\n0,35\n0,36\n0,37\n0,36\n0,36\n16\n0,21\n0,23\n0,27\n0,27\n0,29\n0,31\n0,31\n0,32\n0,31\n0,23\n17\n0,16\n0,18\n0,20\n0,20\n0,22\n0,23\n0,23\n0,23\n0,20\n0,17\n18\n0,11\n0,12\n0,14\n0,15\n0,16\n0,16\n0,15\n0,12\n0,12\n0,09\n19\n0,06\n0,07\n0,08\n0,08\n0,08\n0,09\n0,09\n0,08\n0,07\n0,05\nAdd\n21\n0,06\n0,07\n0,07\n0,07\n0,07\n0,07\n0,07\n0,07\n0,07\n0,07\n22\n0,12\n0,14\n0,14\n0,14\n0,14\n0,14\n0,14\n0,14\n0,14\n0,14\n23\n0,18\n0,20\n0,20\n0,21\n0,21\n0,21\n0,21\n0,22\n0,22\n0,22\n24\n0,24\n0,26\n0,26\n0,27\n0,28\n0,28\n0,28\n0,28\n0,29\n0,29\n25\n0,30\n0,32\n0,32\n0,34\n0,36\n0,36\n0,36\n0,36\n0,36\n0,37",
