  "text": "Annex II of Regulation (EU) No 347/2012 is amended as follows:\n(1) Point 2.4.2.1 is replaced by the following:\n‘2.4.2.1.\n(a) For approval level 1: at least one haptic or acoustic warning mode shall be provided not later than the values specified in Column B of the table in Appendix 1.\n(b) For approval level 2: at least one warning mode shall be provided not later than the values specified in Column B of the table in Appendix 2, as follows:\nin the case of vehicle categories referred to in Row 1 of the table in Appendix 2: the warning shall be haptic or acoustic, and\nin the case of vehicle categories referred to in Row 2 of the table in Appendix 2: the warning shall be haptic, acoustic or optical.’\n(2) Point 2.4.2.2. is replaced by the following:\n‘2.4.2.2.\nAt least two warning modes shall be provided no later than the values specified in:\nfor approval level 1: Column C of the table in Appendix 1;\nfor approval level 2: Column C of the table in Appendix 2.’.\n(3) The last sentence in points 2.5.2.1 and 2.5.2.2 is deleted.\n(4) Appendix 2 is replaced by the following:\n‘Appendix 2\nApproval level 2: warning and activation test requirements — pass/fail values\nVehicles of category M3 with hydraulic braking system are subject to the requirements of row 2.\nVehicles with pneumatic braking system are subject to the requirements of row 1.\nValues shall be specified by the vehicle manufacturer at the time of type-approval (see Annex I, Part 2, Addendum, point 4.4).\nManufacturers of vehicle categories covered by row 2 may elect to gain vehicle type-approval in accordance with the values specified in row 1; in this instance compliance with all the values specified in row 1 shall be demonstrated.\nThe values for the target speed in cell H2 shall be reviewed before 1 November 2021.’\nRow\nA\nB\nC\nD\nE\nF\nG\nH\n0\nVehicle category\nStationary target\nMoving target\nTiming of warning modes\nSpeed reduction of subject vehicle\nTiming of warning modes\nSpeed reduction of subject vehicle\nTarget speed\nAt least 1\nAt least 2\nAt least 1\nAt least 2\n(ref. point 2.4.2.1)\n(ref. point 2.4.2.2)\n(ref. point 2.4.5)\n(ref. point 2.5.2.1)\n(ref. point 2.5.2.2)\n(ref. point 2.5.3)\n(ref. point 2.5.1)\n1\nM3 ,\nN3 and N2> 8t\nNot later than 1,4 s. before the start of the emergency braking phase\nNot later than 0,8 s. before the start of the emergency braking phase\nNot less than 20 km/h\nNot later than 1,4 s. before the start of the emergency braking phase\nNot later than 0,8 s. before the start of the emergency braking phase\nSubject vehicle shall not impact with the moving target\n12 ± 2 km/h\n2\nN2≤ 8t\nand\nM2\nNot later than 0,8 s. before the start of the emergency braking phase\nBefore the start of the emergency braking phase\nNot less than 10 km/h\nNot later than 0,8 s. before the start of the emergency braking phase\nBefore the start of the emergency braking phase\nSubject vehicle shall not impact with the moving target\n67 ± 2 km/h",
