Annex III INDISPENSABLE AND CONDITIONALLY INDISPENSABLE AMINO ACIDS IN BREAST MILK

For the purposes of point 2 of Annexes I and II, breast milk shall be used as reference protein as set out in Sections A and B of this Annex, respectively.

  1. AInfant formula and follow-on formula manufactured from cows' milk or goats' milk proteins and infant formula and follow-on formula manufactured from soya protein isolates, alone or in a mixture with cows' milk or goats' milk proteins
  2. BInfant formula and follow-on formula manufactured from protein hydrolysates
