F1The competent authorities may apply within their respective territories more stringent measures than those specified in regulations made under Article 28(1) or 30(1), if justified by the objective of phytosanitary protection and in accordance with the principles set out in Section 2 of Annex II.

Those more stringent measures shall not impose, or result in, any prohibitions or restrictions on the introduction into, or movement within and through, F2Great Britain of plants, plant products and other objects, other than those imposed by F3, or under, Articles 40 to 58 and 71 to F4101.
