# Regulation (EU) 2016/424 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on cableway installations and repealing Directive 2000/9/EC (Text with EEA relevance), Division 5.1

Vehicles and/or towing devices shall be designed and fitted out in such a way that under foreseeable operating conditions no passenger or operating personnel can fall out or encounter any other risks.
