# Regulation (EU) 2016/424 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on cableway installations and repealing Directive 2000/9/EC (Text with EEA relevance), Division 4.1: All subsystems or safety components shall be individually examined and appropriate tests set out in the relevant designated standards, shall be carried out in order to verify conformity with the approved type described in the type examination certificate and with the appropriate requirements of this Regulation.

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

In the absence of such a designated standard, the approved body concerned shall decide on the appropriate tests to be carried out.
