  "text": "1. By way of derogation from Article 15(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013, when their quota is being approached, a fisheries administration must ensure that vessels in its fleet release all blue marlin (Makaira nigricans) and white marlin (Tetrapturus albidus) that are alive by the time of boarding.\n2. A fisheries administration referred to in paragraph 1 shall take appropriate measures to ensure that blue marlin and white marlin are released in a manner that maximise their chances of survival.",
