# Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/654 of 19 December 2016 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1628 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to technical and general requirements relating to emission limits and type-approval for internal combustion engines for non-road mobile machinery, Division 2.7

Ensure that in the case of a transition engine, the engine (inclusive of the exhaust after-treatment system) has an engine production date prior to the date for placing on the market of engines set out in Annex III to Regulation (EU) 2016/1628, as required by Article 3(7), Article 3(30) and Article 3(32) of that Regulation.
