  "text": "1. Ex-post audits of expenditure on actions funded by the Horizon 2020 budget shall be carried out by the Joint Undertaking in accordance with Article 29 of Regulation (EU) No 1291/2013.\n2. Ex-post audits of expenditure on activities funded by the CEF budget shall be carried out by the Joint Undertaking in accordance with Article 24 of Regulation (EU) No 1316/2013 as part of CEF actions.\n3. The Commission may decide to carry out itself the audits referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article. In such cases, it shall do so in accordance with the applicable rules, in particular Regulations (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046, (EU) No 1290/2013, (EU) No 1291/2013 and (EU) No 1316/2013.",
