  "text": "Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/1685\nof 8 November 2018\non uniform conditions for the transmission of time series for the new regional breakdown pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1059/2003\nTHE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to Regulation (EC) No 1059/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 May 2003 on the establishment of a common classification of territorial units for statistics (NUTS), and in particular Article 5(5) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nRegulation (EC) No 1059/2003 provides the legal framework for the regional classification in order to enable the collection, compilation and dissemination of harmonised regional statistics in the Union.\n(2)\nThe Commission has amended the common classification of territorial units for statistics (NUTS) by Regulation (EU) 2016/2066 with effect from 1 January 2018.\n(3)\nThe measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the European Statistical System Committee,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:",
