# Regulation (EU) 2018/1860 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 November 2018 on the use of the Schengen Information System for the return of illegally staying third-country nationals, Article 20: Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It shall apply from the date set by the Commission in accordance with Article 66(2) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1861.
