Division 2.2.2

The safety policy shall:

1. (a)

   include a commitment to conform with all legal and other requirements related to safety;

2. (b)

   provide a framework for setting safety objectives and evaluating the organisation's safety performance against these objectives;

3. (c)

   include a commitment to control safety risks which arise both from its own activities and those caused by others;

4. (d)

   include a commitment to continual improvement of the safety management system;

5. (e)

   be maintained in accordance with the business strategy and the evaluation of the safety performance of the organisation.
