# Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on persistent organic pollutants (recast) (Text with EEA relevance), Article 2B: Competent authority

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

For the purposes of this Regulation, “competent authority” means (except in Article 8)—
(a)in relation to England, the Environment Agency;
(b)in relation to Scotland, SEPA;
(c)in relation to Wales, NRW.
