# Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1026 of 21 June 2019 on technical arrangements for developing, maintaining and employing electronic systems for the exchange of information and for the storage of such information under the Union Customs Code, Article 18: Member States' identity and access management systems

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

The Member States shall set up an identity and access management system to ensure:
(a) a secure registration and storage of identification data of economic operators and other persons;
(b) a secure exchange of signed and encrypted identification data of economic operators and other persons.
