Article 4 Targets

United Kingdom

Technical measures shall aim to ensure that:

(a)

catches of marine species below the minimum conservation reference size are reduced as far as possible in accordance with F1the fisheries objectives.

(b)

incidental catches of marine mammals, marine reptiles, seabirds and other non-commercially exploited species do not exceed levels provided for in F2legislation applicable in any part of the United Kingdom and international agreements that are binding on the F3United Kingdom.

(c)

the environmental impacts of fishing activities on seabed habitats are in line with F4the fisheries objectives.
