  "text": "Annex III to Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 is amended as follows:\n(1) in point 66.A.45, point (d) is replaced by the following:\n‘(d)\nBy derogation from points (b) and (c), for Group 2 and 3 aircraft, aircraft type ratings may also be endorsed on a licence after completing the following steps:\nsatisfactory completion of the relevant category B1, B2 or C aircraft type examination in accordance with Appendix III to this Annex (Part-66);\nin the case of B1 and B2 category, demonstration of practical experience in the aircraft type. In that case, the practical experience shall include a representative cross section of maintenance activities relevant to the licence category.\nIn the case of a category C rating, for a person qualified through the academic route as referred to in point (a)(5) of point 66.A.30, the first relevant aircraft type examination shall be at the category B1 or B2 level.’;\n(2) in point 66.B.25 point (a) is replaced by the following:\n‘(a)\nThe competent authorities shall participate in a mutual exchange of information in accordance with Article 72(1) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139’;\n(3) point 66.B.30 is replaced by the following:\n‘ 66.B.30\nExemptions\nAll exemptions granted in accordance with Article 71(1) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 shall be recorded and retained by the competent authority’;\n(4) in Appendix I, the table in Module 10 is replaced by the following:\n‘\nLEVEL\nA\nB1\nB2\nB3\n10.1\nRegulatory Framework\nRole of the International Civil Aviation Organisation;\nRole of the European Commission;\nRole of EASA;\nRole of the Member States and National Aviation Authorities;\nRegulations (EU) 2018/1139, Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 and Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014;\nRelation between the various Annexes (Parts) of Regulation (EU) No 748/2012, Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 and Regulation (EU) No 965/2012.\n1\n1\n1\n1\n’",
