  "text": "(a) from 1 April 2020, the nameplate shall include the following information:\nNameplate information\nValue and precision\nUnit\nNotes\nOutput power\nX,X\nW\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the sets of available Output voltage — Output current – Output power shall be given.\nOutput voltage\nX,X\nV\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the sets of available Output voltage — Output current – Output power shall be given.\nOutput current\nX,X\nA\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the sets of available Output voltage — Output current – Output power shall be given.\n(b) from 1 April 2020, instruction manuals for end-users (where applicable), and free access websites of manufacturers, importers or authorised representatives shall include the following information, in the order as set out below:\nInformation published\nValue and precision\nUnit\nNotes\nManufacturer’s name or trade mark, commercial registration number and address\n-\n-\n-\nModel identifier\n-\n-\n-\nInput voltage\nX\nV\nSpecified by the manufacturer. Shall be a value or a range.\nInput AC frequency\nX\nHz\nSpecified by the manufacturer. Shall be a value or a range.\nOutput voltage\nX,X\nV\nNameplate output voltage. Shall indicate whether is AC or DC.\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the sets of available Output voltage — Output current – Output power shall be published.\nOutput current\nX,X\nA\nNameplate output current.\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the sets of available Output voltage — Output current – Output power shall be published.\nOutput power\nX,X\nW\nNameplate output power.\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the sets of available Output voltage — Output current – Output power shall be published.\nAverage active efficiency\nX,X\n%\nDeclared by the manufacturer based on the value calculated as arithmetical mean of efficiency at load conditions 1-4.\nIn cases where multiple average active efficiencies are declared for multiple output voltages available at load condition 1, the value published shall be the average active efficiency declared for the lowest output voltage.\nEfficiency at low load (10 %)\nX,X\n%\nDeclared by the manufacturer based on the value calculated at load condition 5.\nExternal power supplies with a nameplate output power of 10 W or less shall be exempted from this requirement.\nIn cases where multiple average active efficiencies are declared for multiple output voltages available at load condition 1, the value published shall be the value declared for the lowest output voltage.\nNo-load power consumption\nX,XX\nW\nDeclared by the manufacturer based on the value measured for load condition 6.\nThe relevant load conditions are as follows:\nPercentage of nameplate output current\nLoad condition 1\n100 % ± 2 %\nLoad condition 2\n75 % ± 2 %\nLoad condition 3\n50 % ± 2 %\nLoad condition 4\n25 % ± 2 %\nLoad condition 5\n10 % ± 1 %\nLoad condition 6\n0 % (no-load condition)\n(c) from 1 April 2020, the technical documentation for the purposes of conformity assessment pursuant to Article 4 shall contain the following elements:\n(1) for external power supplies with a nameplate output power greater than 10 watts:\nReported Quantity\nDescription\nRoot mean square output current (mA)\nMeasured at load conditions 1-5\nRoot mean square output voltage (V)\nActive output power (W)\nRoot mean square input voltage (V)\nMeasured at load conditions 1-6\nRoot mean square input power (W)\nTotal harmonic distortion of the input current\nTrue power factor\nPower consumed (W)\nCalculated at load conditions 1-5, measured at load condition 6\nActive mode efficiency\nCalculated at load conditions 1-5\nAverage active efficiency\nArithmetical mean of efficiency at load conditions 1-4\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the relevant reported quantities shall be specified for each measurement.\nThe relevant load conditions are set out in point 2(b);\n(2) for external power supplies with a nameplate output power of 10 watts or less:\nReported Quantity\nDescription\nRoot mean square output current (mA)\nMeasured at load conditions 1-4\nRoot mean square output voltage (V)\nActive output power (W)\nRoot mean square input voltage (V)\nMeasured at load conditions 1-4 and 6\nRoot mean square input power (W)\nTotal harmonic distortion of the input current\nTrue power factor\nPower consumed (W)\nCalculated at load conditions 1-4, measured at load condition 6\nActive mode efficiency\nCalculated at load conditions 1-4\nAverage active efficiency\nArithmetical mean of efficiency at load conditions 1-4\nIn cases where more than one physical output or more than one output voltage at load condition 1 are measured, the relevant reported quantities shall be specified for each measurement.\nThe relevant load conditions are set out in point 2(b).",
