  "text": "1. This Regulation establishes ecodesign requirements for the placing on the market or the putting into service of electrical mains-operated welding equipment.\n2. This Regulation shall apply to welding equipment using one or more of the following welding and allied processes:\n(a) manual metal arc welding;\n(b) shielded metal arc welding;\n(c) self-shielded flux-cored welding;\n(d) flux cored arc welding;\n(e) metal active gas and metal inert gas welding;\n(f) tungsten inert gas welding;\n(g) plasma arc cutting.\n3. This Regulation shall not apply to welding equipment using the following welding and allied processes:\n(a) submerged arc welding;\n(b) limited-duty arc welding;\n(c) resistance welding;\n(d) stud welding.",
